Launch of a new book on Business Secrets Management – Strategies to Protect, Extracts and Maximise Value

Business Secrets Management
As one of several co-authors I am excited to announce the imminent launch of our new book on Business Secrets Management – Strategies to Protect, Extracts and Maximise Value.

The book will be available in mid-April and will be formerly launched during the LESI 2025 Annual Conference in Singapore.

As an expert group of 13 authors, we have together collaborated in a work stream within the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) to create an innovative view on confidential information and trade secrets with governance and business value creation.

Our combined perspectives come from business, academia and legal practitioners, from types of companies (size and sector) and courts of justice world-wide, mainly in the European Union, the United States, Canada, Philippines and Singapore.

Together, we have extensive experience in building up companies’ policies (whether national, foreign or multinational) to govern, protect and value confidential information and data, selecting and protecting competitive advantages, organizing their legal protection through programs (whether legal, social, organizational, IT, etc.), drafting and negotiating adequate contractual terms and conditions, managing disputes before the courts or through mediation or arbitration, whether as plaintiff or defendant.

Our book, Business Secrets Management – Strategies to Protect, Extracts and Maximise Value, addresses why Business Secrets should be a concern for companies.

It is a book for managers in small and medium sized businesses or scale-ups that need to understand how to effectively manage their business secrets, during new product launches, finance raising, and M&A.
